The membership of the Barbel Society is split into areas known as regions, and each region is run by a Regional Organiser.

The Society is proud of the high level of commitment put in by the Regional Organisers, but nevertheless realises some areas do not run as smooth and efficiently as others. This is something the Regional Co-ordinator is working on all the time, but he/she is totally dependant on support from the members. So if you live in a region that is dormant and want to see things happen, volunteer and you will receive all the help and assistance to get things moving.
